Heyo. Cole Game here.
This is going to be a little thing I keep running for a while until the game is fully release, just discussing the game dev process.
The demo's content I feel is perfect for a demo for the game. However, there are plenty of issues regarding it. While I won't bother to bugfix the demo just yet, I am working on solutions for known bugs, so let's cover those real quick.
BUG FIXES
-Fixed an issue in Garville where Captain Knuckles Echidna can softlock you after the Church cutscene, as he does not move when talked to from above
-Fixed some dialogue being repeated with minor alterations
-Fixed a few item, weapon, armor, and character descriptions to not go off screen.
Now onto the fun game design stuff!
There are a few more party members now, and I'm trying to make a way for you to get the Paladin and Witch in the same party (since as of the demo, they're mutually exclusive. The party system is a lot more fun to mess with now, due to the fact that I've loaded up VX Ace with scripts! All of the new ones are from Yanfly, which are very cool. Hence why the title is branching out.
My goal for Super Tidus RPG was to create generic RPG Maker games, but those aren't always fun. It was neat for the first one. Now I want to make an experience that mimics older RPGs while still retaining RPG Maker RTP feel and yet still being fun to play and experience.
These new scripts allow for more party stuff, some neat little victory menus and quotes, a better aspect ratio, battle overhauls, and a bit extra! It's awesome!
